Qipang (Shanghai Qipang) attended the 2025 Vietnam (Ho Chi Minh City) International Wire & Cable Exhibition from November 19 to 21, with our booth located at Stand F129, Saigon Exhibition & Convention Center. During this trip, our professional team paid an on-site visit to TRAN PHU, a well-known local cable manufacturer based in Hanoi with over 50 years of industry experience.
As a leading large-scale cable producer in Northern Vietnam, TRAN PHU boasts strong production capacity and a rich product portfolio. Its products are sold nationwide and widely exported to Southeast Asian countries. Despite its outstanding overall strength, the company was long plagued by irregular cable rewinding, uneven winding tension and unstandardized reel shapes. Local equipment suppliers failed to fix these problems thoroughly. Poor coiling quality harmed product appearance, affected storage and delivery, and hindered brand upgrading. After careful evaluation, TRAN PHU chose to cooperate with Qipang for a customized production line.

To meet TRAN PHU's requirements for mass production of various cables, standard reel shapes and stable continuous operation, Qipang designed a full set of integrated cable rewinding production line, including QP1600 pay off machine, TQD800 Caterpillar, high-precision meter counter, QP1600 take up machine and QP1000 Servo PLC take up machine. Independently developed by Qipang, this complete line is specially engineered for precise rewinding, neat coiling, accurate metering and stable traction of various wires and cables, perfectly adapting to complex working conditions in large cable factories.
The QP1600 pay off machine ensures smooth unwinding of raw materials. It effectively prevents line shaking, deviation and wire damage, and maintains steady feeding for orderly rewinding in subsequent processes. Matched with the TQD800 Caterpillar, the line realizes constant-traction conveying. With adjustable and uniform pulling force, it will not compress or scratch cables, and supports continuous production for cables of different specifications, eliminating winding deviation caused by unstable traction of traditional equipment.
Equipped with a high-precision meter counter, the system achieves accurate length measurement with tiny error. It meets the demands for standard delivery, precise slitting and quantitative production, greatly improving product yield and production standardization.
The combined configuration of QP1600 take up machine and QP1000 Servo PLC take up machine is the core part of Qipang's solution for high-standard cable coiling. Adopting servo PLC intelligent control system, the machines automatically adjust winding tension, traverse pitch and running speed, and adapt to cables with different diameters. It completely solves common defects such as loose winding, messy arrangement, uneven edges and irregular reel ends during mixed production of multiple wire sizes.
Operating in linkage, the whole Qipang rewinding line delivers stable unwinding, constant-speed traction, accurate metering and neat winding with standard reel shapes. It thoroughly addresses TRAN PHU's long-standing pain points including messy coiling, unattractive reel appearance and inconvenience in storage and transportation.
