Overview
QP-30 Wire Rope Special Length Meter is a vertical spring compression measuring unit independently developed by Qipang, exclusively engineered for online length detection of 1–30mm steel wire ropes. It adopts double solid steel measuring wheel configuration. The all-steel wheels feature high hardness and outstanding wear resistance, which create firm friction contact with rugged wire rope surfaces and effectively avoid slipping during high-speed conveying.
The device supports a maximum line speed of 200m/min, delivering steady measuring accuracy of 1.5‰ for extrusion processes and 2‰ for stranding & rewinding procedures. Its center height is adjustable within 900–1100mm to match different wire rope winding machines. Inductive sensor is standard, and encoder is optional to collect pulse length signals, with a maximum cumulative measuring length up to 99999.9m. Optional RS485 communication is available to link with winding equipment for automatic stop at preset lengths.
